            Sub: Recognition and Award for Adult Leaders of KVS BS&G – reg

Sir/Madam,

            With reference to the aforesaid subject, it has been decided to recognize and award the eligible Adult leaders at different levels as mentioned below:

1)    Unit level (Vidyalaya level)

2)   Cluster level (as per the five clusters circulated to all KVs)

3)   District level (as per the Districts (S&G) enclosed)

4)   Divisional level

You are requested to identify the Adult leaders of your vidyalaya as per the guidelines / eligibility conditions enclosed (Annexure).

I- UNIT LEVEL: The Adult leaders identified at unit level (one from each section) may be informed to this office.  They may be felicitated on any appropriate occasion as mentioned in the Annexure at column no.7.

II- CLUSTER LEVEL : The Adult leaders identified at Cluster level (in consultation with other Principals of the cluster) by the Cluster In-charges may be informed to this office latest by 20.10.2011 for approval of the Divisional Commissioner.  They may be felicitated on any appropriate occasion as mentioned in the Annexure at column no.7.

III- DISTRICT LEVEL : The applications (prescribed format circulated to all KVs for the Divisional award) of the Adult leaders identified at vidyalaya level may be forwarded to the District Chief Commissioner of the District concerned (refer enclosure) for selection at District level by the District Committee mentioned in the Annexure – Column no.9.   The District Chief Commissioner may fix the date for the  District Committee Meeting and may select the Adult leaders in consultation with the District Commissioners / Principals of the KVs in the District.   The list of selected Adult leaders may be informed to this office latest by 30.10.2011 for approval of the Divisional Commissioner.  They may be felicitated on any appropriate occasion as mentioned in the Annexure at column no.7.

IV-DIVISIONAL LEVEL : The applications for Divisional Awards have already been called for from the vidyalayas for the selection at Divisional level.

Expenditure :

1)    Unit level : Awards will include the items mentioned in Column no.8 in the Annexure enclosed and the expenditure limit is Rs.1000/- to be met out of School fund.

2)   Cluster level & District level : Awards will include the items mentioned in Column no.8 in the Annexure enclosed and the expenditure limit is Rs.2000/- to be met out of Divisional fund.  District Chief Commissioners and Cluster Coordinators will meet the expenditure initially from the KV, which will be reimbursed from Divisional fund on submission of vouchers / bills in original to RO.

Action taken may be reported to the undersigned.
