Sir/Madam,

            With reference to the aforesaid subject, this is to inform you that Cubs and Bulbuls Utsav will be organized from 17^th to 19^th December 2011 at the following venues with the theme: Live Clean & Live Healthy.

Camp fee                : Rs.600/- per cub/bulbul from VVN (for three days)

Registration fee   : Rs.50/- per cub / bulbul from VVN.

 All the LOCs and Regional Observers will report one day earlier i.e., on 16.12.2011 at their respective venues to make all necessary arrangements for the Camps.

Each vidyalaya will sponsor 12 Cubs and 12 Bulbuls (preferably ChathurthaCharan / HeerakPankh) except for the KVs having two or more units viz., KV-Tirumalagiri and KV-Machilipatnam, who will sponsor 24 cubs and 24 bulbuls as per the registration of their units.

                                                                                               

            All the Principals are requested to take personal interest in sending the Cubs & Bulbuls with proper escort arrangement to the respective venues.  Participation of all KVs is compulsory.  The escort teachers for Cubs & Bulbul Utsav will stay with them at the venue.

            The competitions to be held for Cubs & Bulbuls Utsav are enclosed in Annexure I.

            The LOCs are requested to submit a detailed report on completion of the programme to the undersigned.

1) Copy to the Venue Principals, KV-Malkapuram, Kurnool, CRPF and No.2 Uppal – for information and necessary action.  Judges for the competitions will be arranged by the venue KVs.  They are directed to ensure perfect arrangements for the comfortable stay of cubs and bulbuls during the Utsav.  Utmost care to be taken while making boarding arrangements. They may also invite local District Chief Commissioners/District Commissioners (S/G) for participating in the Utsav.  They may arrange for purchase of eight shields for the SHIELD COMPETITIONS AND DISTRICT CHIEF COMMISSIONER SHIELD.

2) Sri JanardhanAcharyulu, LT(S), KV Tirumalagiri – for information and necessary action.

3) Copy to the Principal, KV CRPF Hyderabad – he is requested to direct Sri MHA Baig of his KV to procure 1450 Mementoes (worth not more than Rs.50/- each) and Test Cards along with stickers of Utsav Award Activities in  consultation with Sri JanardhanAcharyulu, LT(S) after thoroughly following the Purchase procedure.  Expenditure may be initially born by the KV, which will be reimbursed from Divisional fund on submission of Bills/vouchers in original.
