Sub: - East Asia and Pacific Regional and South Asia Regional UNGEI Drawing Contest-2012.

Dear Sir/Madam,

            The Partners of the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI) East Asia and Pacific Regional and South Asia Regional are pleased to invite entries for the 4th Drawing Contest on promoting gender equality in education. This year, you are welcome to submit drawing that show what you think a teacher can do to ensure that girls and boys benefit equally from quality education. The details of the contest are as follows:-

1. Theme of the Drawing Contest: - “What can a teacher do to ensure girls and boys benefit equally from Quality education?”
2. Who can enter : -   
The Contest is open to all i.e. Cubs/ Bulbuls/ Scouts/ Guides/ Rovers/Rangers till 18 years of age or under.

3. Drawing Specification  : - 
* Drawing should show contestants’ views on “What a teacher can do to ensure girls and boy benefit equally from quality education”.
      * Drawing must be A4 size.
     * Drawing can be in color or black/White.
     * You may use any materials you like (crayons, pencils, paint etc)
    * Drawing could depict, for example: - Classroom or school activities
                                                               - Sports and games
                                                               - Activities at home
    * Drawing can be accompanied by a short text in any language (200 words maximum) describing the intention of the artist.  This text is NOT compulsory.

4. Number of entries : - Each participant may submit only one drawing.

5. Last Date of Submission :-
     Legibly drawn in A4 size Paper with name and proper addres of a contestants duly recommended by the State should reach Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters latest by 10th November 2012 in the Registration Form enclosed herewith.

The names of the Winners will be announced by WAGGGS in December 2012. For more information, please visit :-
