Madam/ Sir,

Please refer the Minutes of the Dy. Commissioner Conference- 2012/ Meeting of the KVS BS&G State Association held at India Habitate Centre, Lodi Road New Delhi on 06-07-2012 under the Chairmanship of Commissioner KVS & State Chief Commissioner KVS BS&G. The Minutes of this meeting communicated to all Regional Offices for impimentation, the Item No. 04, Point No 05 is related to use of “FACEBOOK’ in KVS BS&G, which is repruduced as under:-

         “Sharing of Knowledge and experience on Facebook:- Now a day among the International Leaders of Scouting Movement Facebook became very popular due to its utility; being a strong Public Platform to share and keep up aware about worldwide activities of the movement. Indian Union member of different State are also on the net for Sharing and carrying to each other (KVS Bhubaneswar region successfully experimented it (the use of ‘facebook’) in Puri Camp-2012).”

      “In this regard, It is approved that we may create an example by using this media in Positive and constructive way.it is also approved that;-

i.          Experimentally all KVS Uniformed members allowed to use “facebook” for publicity of KVS BS&G activities, sharing of information and as a teaching tool of the scouting movement.

ii.         The Patrol Leaders may also join this activity under supervision of Unit Leader or parent.”

Please make best use of this facility by sharing the knowlege and experiences on ‘facebook’, publishing ideas, sketches, Modal-photographs, research work related to BS&G. You are also requested to promote the KVS BS&G movement by using  this social media (facebook) as per the above mentioned and approved norms.
