Sub: SPECIAL NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMP

Dear Sir/Madam,

         We are glad to inform you that the Special National Integration Camp will be conducted at the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Youth Complex, Gadpuri from 15^th January to 19^thJanuary 2013. Following are thedetails of the event:

Name of the Event : SpecialNational Integration Camp

Dates : 15^thJanuary – 19^th January 2013

Venue : BharatScouts & Guides, National Youth Complex, Gadpuri, Dist-Palwal, Haryana

Date of Arrival : 15^thJanuary, 2013 before lunch

Date of Departure : 19^thJanuary, 2013 after lunch

How to Reach : Gadpuri is situated on Delhi- Mathura Road in between Palwal and

Ballabhgarh (Just 10 Km. from Ballabhgarh & Palwal) from

Faridabad/Ballabhgarh/Palwal/Delhi (Sarai Kale Khan) Buses are available

for Palwal, get down at Gadpuri Scout Bus Stand. Auto services are also

available from Ballabhgarh and Palwal to get down at Gadpuri Scout Bus

Stand.

Who can attend : Scouts/Guides between 14 to 17 Years of age and must have

Completed at least Rajya Puraskar Badge. (Best Scouts/Guides may please be selected).

Quota : Scouts-16, Scouter-01, Guides-16, Guider-01 Total:- 34.

Development Fees : Rs.50/=from each Scout/Guide, Rs.100/=from each Adult Leaders.

Special Fee : Rs.30/= from each Scout/Guide & Adult Leaders,

Total Rs.80/=per Scout & Guide, and Rs.130/= per Adult Leader will have to be paid at the time of Registration.

Financial Assistance: Actual Bus Fare and 2^nd /Sleeper Class Concessional Train Fare will be

reimbursed by theNational Headquarters on Production of photocopy of

train tickets and Bus tickets in original. Bus fare will be paid for the route

(Where there are no train services). Deluxe/Volvo Buses or Taxi/Auto is

not admissible.

What to Bring : Following materials is must to be carried by each Participant:

Two sets of correct and complete uniform as per APRO Part-II and III, Track Suit, Sleeping Bag, Torch, Water Bottle, Rope, Plate, Mug, Spoon, Writing Materials, First-Aid Kit, Personal Cloths, Materials for State Exposition, Exhibition, items related to their states culture, musical instruments, traditional costumes for cultural programme, camp fire, local food items for Food Plaza and other necessary materials for programme etc.

Programme &Activities : Exhibition, Quiz, State Exposition, Folk Song, Folk Dance, Patriotic Song, Musical Instruments, Handicraft etc. Each State will expose their Festivals, Crafts, Culture, Food, Marriage, Development of Scouting/Guiding activities in their own state. State Exposition with details of topography, history, peoples, habits, traditions, costumes including dress, jewellary, language, festivals and ceremonies etc.

Headquarters on or before 31^st December, 2012.
