Special Achievement of the Year 2010-11 are as under:-
1.  The remarkable increase in the Census of Volunteers of KVS BS&G from 1,24,366 to 1,70, 689. The growth in census is about 50 thousands (actual 46,323).

2.  The Scheme of Divisional Award -2005 reinforced, in order to recognise the achievements and contributions of Unit Leaders of KVS BS&G.


3.  The Autonomy in self Planning and implementation of BS&G activities at School, LA, district and Divisional level permitted as per available resources, local need and guidelines of KVS HQ (issued time to time). So that committed leaders may contribute in KVS BS&G with Pleasure.

4.  The BS&G activities are part and parcel of KVS education policy since 1996, But from this year officially KVS made it optional for students and mandatory for teachers.

5.  To propagate KVS BS&G activities and to make aware all the members, the use of Information Technology: e-mail, Fax, Mobile and website permitted in large scale.

6.  The number of KVS BS&G Rajya Puraskar/ Awardees Scouts and Guides increase 100 % from this year.

7.  Among State official number of Voluntary officials (ALT / LT) increased from 06 to 18.

8.  The KVS BS&G state is spread all over India, for better governess of the movement, SOC delegated a lot of authorities among ALTs/ LTs which was successfully implemented in Rajya Puraskar Testing Camps.

Report on Scout/ Guide activities during 2010-2011.

( I ) State level:-
1.  Every region organized Dwitiya/ Tritiya Sopan training camps before testing the Scouts/ Guides for above certificate.
2.  HWB training courses for SM/GC/CM.FL were conducted at two places (1) NTC Pachmarhi and (2) Northern Railway Training Centre Raiwala, Dehradun from 3rd to 10th May 2010.
3.  A KVS State level Rajya Puraskar testing camp was organised successfully by RO Mumbai from 24-07-2010 to 28-07-2010 at KV Dehu Road, Pune.
4.  All the Division organised Basic/ Advanced Training courses for SMs/ GCs/CMs/FLs, Tritiya Span training & Testing Camps for Scouts/ Guides & Cubs/ bulbuls advancement programme and Utsav.
5.  Most of the Vidyalaya celebrated all the important events i.e. thinking Day, World Health Day and Human Right Day etc during 2010-2011.
6.  Hyderabad Region successfully organised KVS State Rally cum Pre- Jamboree from 29-12-2010 to 02-01-2011 at KV OFE Medak under the leadership of Mr. S. Selvaraj, AC KVS Hyderabad Region.
7.  A Workshop of Advanced Trained Cub Masters conducted from 16-02-2011 to 18-02-2011 at KV Gole Market New Delhi under the leadership of Mr. S. Narsimhan Leader Trainer (Cub Section) & TGT (Maths), KV Gill Nagar, Chennai.
( II ) National Events :-
1.  618 KVS Scouts, Guides from 07 Regions (Bangalore Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jabalpur and Mumbai) with their leaders successfully attended the 16th National Jamboree from 03-01-2011 to 09-01-2011 at Hyderabad. 18 thousand youth participated from all over India, KVS participants trained thousands Youth in 6-Micro-Yoga-Practices as part of Community Service and achieved 14 Gold and 14 Silver in Inter- State Competitions. Dr. B. Islam SOC KVS received Award of the KVS from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 09-01-2011 as Contingent Leader KVS.
2.  04 Scouts and 12 Guides participated in the centenary Jamboree of Girl Guides of India conducted by the NHQ of BS&G at Dehradun from 07th to 11th April 2010.
3.  The participants from Dehradun, Delhi, Chandigarh and Lucknow Regions attended a BS&G Regional Level Scouter Guider Conference- 2011 at Raiwala Dehradun.
4.  The KVS BS&G Units have been selected by the NHQ of the Bharat Scouts and Guides for PM Shield Award 2010.
5.  15 LTs/ALTs assisted in various national level courses at NTC Pachmarhi.
6.  24 Scouts and 03 Guide Selected for Rashtrapati Award during 2010-2011.
7.  Jabalpur Region participated in the National Level Tribal/ Grameen Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger Meet held in Chattisgarh from 23rd  Feb, 2011 to 27th Feb. 2011.
8.   KVS Staff deputed in various National Level events and Courses Dr. (Mrs.) Vimla Verma, Leader Trainer (Guide)  was Resource-person-Staff in the National Level Standard Judging Camp held from 19-01-2011 to 23-01-2011 at NYC Gadpuri Haryana.
9.  The 19 Principals of KVS attended National Level Basic Course for Commissioners from 01st to 05th April 2011 at National Training Centre of Bharat Scouts and Guide, Pachmarhi.
10.            Five Principals i.e. one DC (Guide) 04 DC (Scout) attended National Level Advanced Course for Commissioners from 03rd  to 07th June 2011 at National Training Centre of Bharat Scouts and Guide, Pachmarhi, M.P.
( III ) International Events
Dr. B. Islam SOC KVS BS&G attended Strategic Planning Review Workshop from 11-15 February, 2011 at NHQ with three members of the State which was conducted by the WOSM Asia Pacific Regional HQ Manila Philippines. KVS BS&G State Profile 2010-2011
