Dear Sir / Madam,
Lord B.P. left for us a treasure of Scouting Movement to be used for the development of youth and exhausted for the service of mankind.
One of BP’s saying is as under:-
“The Best progress is made in those Troops where power and responsibility are really put into the hands of the Patrol Leader. This is the real success of Scout training”
In this regard, I am to request that every fortnightly a strategic rehearsal and practice on above lines is to be executed in KVS BS&G Scout Troops and Guide Companies by Unit Leaders on permission of Group Leader-Principal. The informal and formal support of the concerned LTs/ALTs of the State and other local available resources may be availed by outsourcing, if required and permitted.
At State level, I also shared my leadership duties and responsibilities by giving opportunities to LTs and ALTs to work as Chief Examiner/ Associate Examiner and Coordinator of Rajya Puraskar Testing Camps of KVS BS&G in the year 2010. This type of delegation of powers required among us for the success in the light of above saying. I will be thankful if it followed by all Adult Leaders including LTs/ALTs at all levels (Division/District/LA-Cluster) in KVS BS&G. This role model of Adult Leaders will definitely strengthen our Scouting movement and keep us on the position of top level State of Scouting in India.
