Sub:- Result of the Rashtrapati Guides Testing Camp for the Year 2010- reg.

This refers to NHQ, BS&G letter No. B.S.G./ N.H.Q./DDG/ 4131/2010-2011 dated 27-01-2010, regarding result of the Rashtrapati Guides Testing Camp -2010, wide which the list of the qualified Guides of KVS, selected for Rashtrapati Award for the Year 2010 is also enclosed. The selected Guides may please be congratulated on behalf of the KVS State.

2. You are also requested to convey our appreciation(under intimation to this office) to all concerned including Principal of the respective KV, Teacher/ HWB/ ALT/LT, DC and others, for their best efforts for the success of these Guides who brought laurel to the KVS BS&G.

3. However, keeping in view the numbers of Guides (about 30,000!), the achievement of having only 3 Guides getting qualified is a matter of great concern and needs attention and introspection of all concerned. You are therefore requested to take a lead in ensuring that S&G movement become a reality and not a mere rhetoric. You are also directed to exhort upon all the Scout Masters and Guide Captains of your region to make all out efforts to improve the Scouting standard in terms of numbers as well as quality.
