Sir,

I am to forward herewith the Questionnaire of Training Study Project (TS-II), Guideline and Information Sheet in respect of the Advanced Trained Scoutmasters of your Region (as mentioned in your letter No. F.31-1/2008 – KVS (PR) / 28666 dated 06-11-2008) for the Year 2008-09.

You are requested to please handover the same to the teachers concerned of your Region with the instructions to complete it and submit the answer script in a presentable manner to the State Training Commissioner (Scout) through proper channel for evaluation by the Sr. Leader Trainer and further necessary action.

Apart from above you are also requested to direct the District Commissioners, District Training Commissioners, LTs and ALTs of your Region to help in the issuance and successful completion of this project please.

GUIDE LINES

TO ISSUE TRAINING STUDY PROJECT (QUESTIONNAIRE) FOR ADVANCED TRAINED SCOUTMASTERS AND CUMBMASTERS

FOR THE YEAR 2009-10

As per the BS& G Scheme of Training all Advanced Trained Scoutmasters and Cubmasters have to complete Training Study Project (TS-II) for their advancement in concerned section. The Guideline for the T.S. Project is given below: -

1. Regional Office may issue Training Study to the eligible SMs / CMs on behalf of the STC (Scout) with the direction that all such SMs & CMs should send their training Study Project to State Training Commissioner (Scout) in a presentable manner.

2. In this regard all the District Commissioners, District Training Commissioner (Scout), Assistant Leader Trainers and LTs of the Region may also be requested to take necessary action at their level and provide logical technical support for promotion of scouting through this Project in their vicinity.

3. For detailed study to complete the project “Scouting for Boys” written by Lord Stephenson Smith Baden Powel (the founder of the Scouting movement) is recommended.

4. While answering the references are to be mentioned for each question.

5. Answer script may please be sent through proper channel to the STC (Scout) KVS BS&G with qualifying certificate of the Advanced Course and Information Sheet ( Form No.4 from Scheme of Training Book of BS&G) copy enclosed herewith.

6. On the satisfaction of the appointed Reader / evaluator (Sr. L.T.) and on his report of successful completion of the study project work, the STC will issue the qualifying certificate otherwise it will be returned to the candidate for further course of required action.

7. The qualifying certificate will be registered at the BS&G National Training Centre Pachmarhi.

8. The District Commissioner concerned are requested to send the detail of all the recipients of Questionnaire of this project to the Assistant Commissioner concerned and STC (Scout) in the following format :-
