Please refer this office letter No. F.180353/2008/KVS (DDR) / 31966 - 32050 dated 30-06-2008 / 2-07-2008, regarding Divisional Association Meeting held on dated 02-05-2008 at KV HBK NO.1, Dehradun. Para No. 6 of the said letter narrates that the Divisional Association will give Divisional Awards to the active & dedicated Scout Masters / Guide Captains / Cub Masters / Flock Leaders and other Officials at the Divisional Level from the Divisional Fund. Selection will be done at the Regional level. These awards will be given during the Training Camps.

In this regard you are requested to recommend the names of the active and dedicated Scout Masters / Guide Captains / Cub Masters / Flock Leaders and other Officials having at least HWB minimum qualification from your District, in following format:-

Sub: KVS State Awards in Scouting & Guiding for the year 2004-05.

Sir/Madam,

The Scout & Guide movement has made steady progress in the KVS State by the sincere efforts and dedicated services of its teachers. In order to encourage such teachers and to recognize their services for the growth of the Scout/Guide movement in the State, the KVS has instituted the following State Awards for its scouters and guiders:-

2.	Medal of Merit	05	Meritorious service as ALT or LT
3.	Bar to Medal of Merit	05	After medal of merit

Each award carries a certificate, a medal and cash component of Rs. 10,000/-.

You are requested to give wide publicity to the scheme and submit proposals from your region for the year 2004-05 in the prescribed proforma (copy enclosed) latest by 15.02.2005
