Hakeem Dr. Badrul Islam Kairanvi honored; “GTI VISHISHT SEWA AWARD 2018”
“GTI VISHISHT SEWA AWARD 2018” conferred to Hakeem Dr. Badrul Islam Kairanvi jointly by Prof Sankar Kumar Sanyal President Harijan Sewak Sangh and President Akhil Bhartiya Prakirtic Chikitsa Parishad New Delhi and Dr Sanjeev Kumar Pandey president of the Global Touch international (GTI) on 12-05-2018 at Gandhi Gram, Kingsway Camp, New Delhi for his extra ordinary 40 years Service with utmost dedication for Yoga Education in Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools & among Islamic scholars of Madarsa. The detail is as under;-
The Award was given to Dr. B. Islam Kairanvi in recognition of his (i) worldwide contributions for popularizing Yoga he successfully started his “Yoga Visit” in 1985 to Europe, Africa and recently in Saudi Arabia. (ii) In India Dr Islam introducing Yoga since 1981 in more than 400 Voluntary Community Service events and in official government duties with successful, different and innovative ways. (iii) He contributed as coauthor of NCERT Yoga books and at government of India level these books were given as gift to UNO countries and (iv) as State Training Commissioner KVS BS&G under MHRD Govt. of India he always tried to popularize Yoga among Indian Youth, in this regard he trained thousands of Government and Madarsa Teachers and through them more than one million students in Yoga Fitness Practices.
