Outstanding
Scouts-2012.

Dear Sir / Madam,
In
continuation to our previous Circular referred above, we have to inform you that
the Asia Pacific Region is in the process of searching for candidates for the
APR Award for Outstanding Scouts. Ever since the contest started at the Regional
Scout Conference in Delhi in 2001, it has become a regular feature of every
Regional Conference and has maintained the paramount standard of
awarding the best among the best of our Scouts
The competition calls for the nomination and selection
of outstanding Scouts in member-countries in the Asia Pacific Region with the
main purpose of enhancing the image and visibility of Scouting as an educational
movement, and to emphasize its effectiveness in the development of young people
in School and the communities.
Announcement of the Awards will be made during
24th Asia Pacific Regional Scout Conference in Dhaka, Bangladesh
between 24th to 29th November 2012.
We are enclosing herewith the eligibility criteria and
nomination form with the request to please select the best Scouts for the above
prestigious Award of the Asia Pacific Region.
You are also requested to please send the Application
forms along with the Nomination Form and Summary of Achievements Proforma
(enclosed) duly filled to the Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters,
New Delhi on or before 30th
May 2012 for onward transmission of
the same to the Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters.
