Sir/ Madam,

On the subject cited above, I am to say that the dedicated teachers  of KVS as Unit Leaders of BS&G regularly developing competency of Scouts and Guides. Last year with the support of such teachers 23 Scout and 03 Guide successfully completed the Rashtrapati S/G Test. This year the guideline for the testing camp issued by BS&G NHQ (vide Circular No. 26/ 2012 dated 07-03-2012) and this Circular was published for awareness of everyone at the following link:

2.      The guidelines mentioned in above NHQ BS&G circular are to be followed strictly while recommending the form to avoid any disappointment, because any carelessness in this regard at any level is resulting a big failure. In spite of a big team of advanced trained teachers, qualified HWBs, ALT and LTs in the year 2010 and 2011 more than 99 % applicants were rejected by NHQ BS&G.

3.      The Group Leaders/ Principals are requested to motivate teachers for contribution of their valuable services to prepare Scouts and Guides generously. After completing all the training concerned Unit Leaders have to arrange a test at their level, then  prescribed applications of fully prepared S/G should be forward though proper channel/ District Commissioner concerned along with required detail in a table.

4.      The prescribed applications for Rashtrapati Scouts and Guides are available at the State/ District HQ of neighboring state. Forms may be collected/ purchased from them or requisition may be forwarded to this office through proper channel along with detail in a table so that KVS BS&G SHQ may arrange forms for the needy KVs from National Headquarters of BS&G.

            You are requested to motivate all principal of your jurisdiction for taking necessary and possible steps for the advancement of Scouts and Guides movement specially every KV of your region should develop at least a Rashtrapat Scout and Guide within two years.
