Subject: 15^TH INTERNATIONAL ADVENTURE PROGRAMME AT NATIONAL

               ADVENTURE INSTITUTE OF THE BHARAT SCOUTS & GUIDES,

               PACHMARHI, MADHYA PPADESH, INDIA.

Sir/ Madam,

In continuation to this Office Circular No. 91/2012, Dated 10.09.2012, I have to inform you that we have not received any confirmation till date from the Asia-Pacific Region for participation of the National Scout Organisations of Asia Pacific Region except Gerakan Paramuka, Indonesia in the 15^th International Adventure Programme which will be held at National Adventure Institute of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, India from 16^th to 25^th February 2013.

Once again you are requested to send the details  of  the participants of your NSO for participation in the 15^th International Adventure Programme to be held at National Adventure Institute of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh . Details of the event are given below:-

Name of the Event	:	15TH INTERNATIONAL ADVENTURE PROGRAMME .
Venue	:	National Adventure Institute of the Bharat Scouts & Guides Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Date	:	16th to 25th February 2013 (TEN DAYS)
Eligibility	:	Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers/UnitLeaders/Commissioners ranging from 18 to 45 years of age may apply. Fitness: - Physically and Mentally fit and be able to trek for atleast 16-20 Kms. Per day. Blood Pressure, Asthma, Diabetes patients are not allowed.
Camp Fee	:	US $ fees 90.00. Fee includes expenses on food, event souvenirs, accommodation, sanitation, medical assistance for the injury during the programme, equipment, and other training expenses inclusive of local transportation from Itarsi/ Pipariya/ Bhopal to the event venue and back.
Activities	:	Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Commando Climbing, Valley Crossing, Trekking, Horse Riding, Riffle / Pistol Shooting, Archery, Encountering of Obstacles, Night Trekking, Star gazing, Backwoods men cooking, Boating, Camping, Physical Jerks, Camp Fire every night and many more attractive activities.
Equipment	:	The participants need to bring Scout Uniform, NSO Flag, National Flag, CD of National Anthem, Compass, Sleeping Bags, Toiletries and medicine, Torch, Umbrella, warm cloths, mosquito net and other necessary belongings. Participants Should not bring costly Materials/ Ornaments to the Camp.
Registration	:	For the booking of the event, name list must be sent to the DIRECTOR, BHARAT SCOUTS & GUIDES, NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS 16, MAHATMA GANDHI MARG, I.P. ESTATE, NEW DELHI, INDIA with a copy to the Dy. Director (Adv. Prog.), National Adventure Institute, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, India (Email:bsgntc@sancharnet.in , bsgnai@yahoo.com and Fax: 917578-252541, 917578- 252350).
What to bring		Please bring Malaria, H1N1 Virus, Test report (tested within a week before departure). Application Form, Medical Certificate and Risk Certificate as per proforma are attached. Personal kit:- Ruck sack, Warm cloths, woolen shawl, sleeping bag,  complete and correct uniform, Cotton full sleeves shirts/T. shirts and Pants/Jeans Pouch with belt, Bed sheet, Hunter Boots/sports shoes, Chappals, two pairs of cotton socks, Rain coat, torch, Water proof sheet(6’x3’), Mug, Plate, Spoon, Knife, thread needle, spare buttons, Note Book, Pen, Pencil, First Aid Kit/personal medicine/cream etc. toilet kits, talcum powder, Water Bottle and spare garments. Participants are requested to come prepared for every day’s campfire and to present cultural items in groups. For the same, traditional costumes and other dresses related to the items have to be brought. Two Stamp size photograph has to be brought.
Time of Reporting	:	16th February 2013 before Lunch- Latecomers will not be admitted.
Time of Relieving	:	25th February 2013 after Lunch only- accordingly travel plan will be made.
Special Note	:	No doubt, you are physically fit, but you are advised to toughen up your leg muscles by road walk, running and skipping for at least a fortnight before reaching for Adventure Programme. While practicing, wear your same socks and shoes that you will be wearing for the programme Accommodation will be provided in the Tent only.
SAFETY	:	We have gone through the entire schedule bit-by-bit, route planned with the help of expert mountaineers and trekkers, to keep you safe and sound. Although every possible care of the participants will be taken, the National Adventure Institute, Bharat Scouts and Guides will not be responsible for any accident, loss, illness or other unforeseen events that may occur during the programme.
Weather:	:	During February, Pachmarhi will be cold and the temperature of the area will be around 6 to 18 degree. Hence warm cloth and bedding has to be brought accordingly.
How to reach	:	Air: The nearest Airport is Bhopal. From Delhi and Mumbai, direct flights are available for Bhopal. From Bhopal, 6 hours journey by bus up to Pachmarhi. Train: The nearest Railway station is PIPARIYA, which is on Itarsi- Jablalpur Allahabad Railway line. The distance from Pipariya to Pachmarhi is 56 Km by road. Buses, Taxies and Jeeps are available on nominal rate from Pipariya to Pachmarhi.
Quota	:	Booking will be done on “First Come First Serve Basis”. 100 seats are reserved for overseas participants.

All the NSOs are requested to send the details of participants on or before 31^st January 2013.
