DearSir/Madam,
        We are delighted to inform you that ‘Sangam’one of the World Guide Centre, situated in Pune, India, offers scholarship toBharat Scouts & Guides for young leaders and it is an golden opportunityfor them to meet sisters of all over the world to share the experience andculture in various events. States are requested to depute interested candidatesin Sangam Events.

The Detail of the Scholarships event isas follows:- 
Name of the Event:      Millennium Development Goals - VI


Dates:       26th November to 02nd  December 2012


Venue:          Sangam World Centre,
                     World Association  of Girl Guides & Girl Scouts (WAGGGS),
                      Alandi Road,  Yesrwada, Pune – 411 006, India.

Theme:           Millennium  Development Goals & WAGGGS Global Action Theme.



Quota Allotted:                06 (SIX)  


Eligibility:-
Ø       Guide/  Rangers/Ranger Leaders/Guiders age between 16-30 Years, who have not been to  Sangam and offered the Scholarship.
Ø       Knowledge of  English is Compulsory.
Ø        Participants, who are able to work on  Millennium Development Project.
Ø       After the  event follow up work is most important for the Participants.


Programme & Activities :

          Be  part of this exciting event with participants from across the globe as you  visit out community partners and immerse yourself in Indian culture. Relate  your experiences to the Millennium Development Goals and the WAGGGS Global  Action Theme through participatory learning. Join the Community Partners for  World Aids Day initiatives and see first hand what is being done in India to  advocate about this issue. Be part of the change you want to see in the  World!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Expenditure :
·           Rs. 1500/-Booking Fees to participate in the Event.
     The Demand Draft will be prepared in  favour of
     “Sangam  World Centre”.

Caution Money:- 

·          Rs. 3000/- , Non-refundable; if selected and not  participated.
       Demand Draft will be prepared in  favour of Director,
        Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi. 

·          Travelling  Expenditure will be born by themselves to reach Sangam and Back.
·          Event Fees  Scholarship (One time basis). 


Youare requested to send both the Demand Drafts along with the Registration andHealth Form to the Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides, National Headquarters,New Delhi latest by 20th September 2012.
