Sub: - The BS&G Uniform Allowance.
Madam/ Sir,
Please refer the Minutes of the Meeting of the KVS BS&G Association held 24-06-2011, Item No. 04, Point No 01 , vide which to make/ prepare or purchase the BS&G Ceremonial Uniform, Working Casual Uniform and Summer/ Winter Uniform parts i.e. Half Sleeve Shirt/ Blazer/ Woolen Jersey etc. and to maintain the Uniform i.e. its washing, wear and tear etc the amount of Uniform Allowance will be sanctioned Rs. 5,000/- every year to all Unit Leaders ( Scout Masters, Guide Captains, Cub Masters and Flock Leaders) ALTs and LTs from the KVS BS&G Divisional Association fund, The conditions are as under:-
i. Who are working as Basic/ Advance/ HWB trained Unit Leader or ALT/LT working as associate (at least) in a Unit.
ii. Maintaining “My Diary of Contribution and Achievement” (MDCA) of the year (a specimen of the column is available on www.kvsbsg.blogspot.com )
iii. The Diary is further supported by personal LOG-BOOK.
iv. Who are maintaining and wearing the correct Uniform properly during the KVS BS&G activities.
v. A certificate/ verification regarding above four points should be issued by the Principal concerned as Group Leader on individual application of the Uniform Allowance.
vi. The Uniform allowance for Commissioner of all rank will be equal to Unit Leaders. The DCC, DC, Dy. Div. Commr, Div. Commr are also entitled for the Allowance from the KVS BS&G Divisional Association fund.
vii. The KVS HQ staff of BS&G including the Leader Trainer attached in KVS HQ (To monitor the BS&G activity in KVS) is also entitled for the Uniform Allowance from the KVS State Association Fund of BS&G.
viii. The newly appointed Unit Leaders/ participants of the Basic Course will prepare Uniform accordingly they may take loan from School if required, till the Uniform Allowance received from RO.
ix. The Uniform Allowance is to be distributed in all Regions latest by 20th September every year and compliance report is to be forwarded to this office latest by 30th Sep. every year.
x. The Principal concerned will invite applications from above mentioned eligible candidates for grant of Uniform Allowance.
You are requested to sanction Rs. 5,000/- per year, per person to the above mentioned KVS BS&G contributors on recommendation of the Principal concerned from the Divisional Association fund and arrange the payment directly in the Salary Account of the individual.
