REGIONAL LEVEL COURSE FOR TRINING COUNCELLOR at Regional,Training Centre,Raiwala,Dehradun from 15-09-09 to 19-09-09 regarding.
Wide kvs regional office letter number F.180353/2/2008/RO D.DUN/BS&G DATED 04-08-09 the said course was organized under the able guidance of the officials appointed by the National Head Quarters, BS&G NEW DELHI. has its utility, can be described as stated below.
1. The course was conducted under the able guidance of Sh Ashok Mahapatra,LOC.and his associate member's team fromNational Head Quarters. NEW DELHI. All the participant were from different states of Northern India.
2.The whole of HWB SYLLABUS for(SCOUTS AND GUIDES) was revised in the 5 day long course.
3.Maximum stress was given on practicability and projects related to Poineering, First AidGadgets Formatuion ,Hiking and Adventure activities and their uses.
4.Most of the new changes if brought about in scouting and guiding through apro 2&3 published recently were discussed during the question- -answer sessions during the course.
All out efforts were made to make the course interesting and attractive as what is done during the courses held at different venues organized by kvs for students and the teachers .
5. As per the instructions the trainees are now entitled for conducting the test camp up to RAJYA PURASKAR AND HWB COURSES in the coming sessions. As per the instructions i have trained 7 scouts and 7 guides in the Vidyalaya so that they can extend the same training process as a chain training system to other scouts and guides in the Vidyalaya. The names of the trained scouts and guides are as follows.

2 Date : from 07-12-2009 to 13-12-2009 = 7 days.

TA/DA and whole expenditure of the participants will be met from VVN account of the Vidyalayas and later on the bills by the KVs concerned will be submitted for reimbursement (Camp fee. Dev. Fee & Reg Fee only). Incurring expenditure 20% from VVN 40 % RSCB Fund 40% KVS HQ Sports Fund. Camp Fee of the escorting staff will be met out from their TA/DA.
5 Eligibility Minimum age 12 years. Class VII to IX any Scout / Guide.
6 Certification : Participation Certificate / Successfully Completion Certificate will be issued.

7 Escorting : The escorting teachers will stay at the camp site during the camp. Safety and security of the participants will have the top priority for which concerned Escorting Teacher will be held personally accountable\ / responsible.
8 Trainer : National Level Trainer will give Adventure Training.
9 Other formalities: A copy of the Application Form, Declaration, Medical Certificate and Risk Certificate should be carried with the participants. A copy of the Guideline from Shri M.S. Qureshi Dy. Director (ADV.PROG.) is also enclosed herewith for ready reference.
10 Railway Reservation : To and fro reservation should be arranged well in advance (after getting confirmation from this office).
Nearest Railway Station to Pachmarhi (M.P.) is PIPARYA which is in between JABALPUR and ITARSI (refer attached guideline).
11 Advances :: Sufficient advance should be given to the escorting teacher.
12 Selection : Regional Office will select the participants and send the confirmation for the participation. Only after confirmation, participants will start journey accordingly.
13 Note : Half Early Examination of the selected candidates, if occurs will be arranged afterwards.

The aim of the celebration is not only to reach the community with a view to popularize the movement but also to raise some funds for the BS&G at Vidyalaya level. Other modalities to celebrate the day are given below to facilitate action at your end.
1. A sum of Rs. 2/- only is to be collected for each sticker. If some VIP wants to contribute more, not more than Rs.10/- ( ten only) for each sticker is to be collected in any case.
2. Meetings at different levels with Scouts, Guides, all Adult leaders (SMs, GCs, FLs, CMs) and local dignitaries may be arranged at the earliest to prepare the strategy for 100% distribution of Flag Day stickers.

1. I Savdhan, Vishram, Savdhan.

IV Start

iv. Keep the elbows parallel to the ground.
IV Start
On command of Start began fast Inhalation through mouth.
1st fill chest by suction the air through mouth, then fill mouth also).
V Hold On command of ‘Hold’ hold breath in the Chest and Mouth by closing lips.
VI Chin to the Chest
Along with the Chin, keep the little fingers also on the chest.
(Be inside mentally and feel the effects of the practice inside the body.
In group practice stay for the duration of 10 times counting approximately.
VII Face – up. Don’t raise hands with the face. Little fingers should stay back at the chest with arms parallel to the ground.
VIII Normal Breath
1st exhale the breath and start normal breathing. Stay in this position at least bout two normal breaths and in this position feel immediate after effect of this Practice in chest, neck, mouth, ears and brain area.
IX Arms – down In this command the sequence of action will be as follows, if space is available for this action otherwise bring hands down with shortest rout:
i. 1St rotate tips of the fingers upward, then, towards the chest simultaneously raise elbows as much as you can.
ii. Then bring hand above the head with keeping fingers together. Palms facing upward.
iii. Palms facing in apposite direction of the body.
iv. Bring hands down in respective sides, by making a circle with them. Be conscious that when bringing arms down exert pressure/ stretching of hands outwardly.
v. When arms make about 30 to 45 degree angle at body relax them/ make them losed by auto-suggestions and allow them to come in hanging position by side of the body.
vi. Mentally be inside the body and feel the effect of this practice.
X Vishram.

i. Slowly turn face towards right side, as much as you can, don’t allow shoulders to move towards right side.
ii. Then relax your neck muscles.
iii. Be inside, feel inside and concentrate at neck area in order to become aware about the effect of the practice at the Neck area of the body.
iv. Stay in this position for the duration of 2-6 normal breaths.
V Face – Left side.
Same way as above but in other side.
VI Right Same way as above.
VII Left Same way as above but in other side.

IX Backward bending
(Tilt face upward and raise chin as much as you can and then follow the guideline of final stage of Yoga practice as mentioned above)

(iii) Fist facing behind and
(iv) Arms tight (No elbow bend).
IV Start. (Action) Inhalation through mouth – Start
(Part-I. First fill chest area by suction of air through mouth. Part- II. Then fill mouth also).
V Hold (Close lips and hold breath inside the Chest and Mouth).
VI Chin to the Chest (Bring the Chin to rest on the Chest).
VII Start (Shoulder pumping).
(Start-Shoulder pumping by raising shoulder up as much as you can then bring them down as much as you can do it. The whole action should be with full force and speed. Repeat it at least 10 times).
Please not that if any way, the practicener is unable to hold the breath then he /she should stop practicing and have to raise face upward then he /she can exhale the breath and start taking normal breath.
VIII Stop Stop all the action of shoulder pumping.
IX Face-up Raise the face upward in order to provide resistance free passage to come out air.
X Normal-Breath
Start taking Normal Breaths and if you like you may close Eyes and Be-inside mentally, Feel inside immediate after-effects of this Practice especially in shoulder area, chest, ears and brain area.
XI Vishram Come in starting Vishram Position to take further rest.

Sir / Madam,
With reference to KVS HQ letter No. F. 110353/ 01/ 2008 – KVS(Acad)/ BS&G dated 24-06-2009, the Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp- 2009 will be held from 25-08-2009 to 29-08-2009 at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This Region will select 35 Scouts & 30 Guides to participate in the Rajya Puraskar. They will report at Chennai on 24-08-2009.
For smooth preparation and selection of the participants from this Region a Pre- Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp will be held at K.V. Upper Camp, Dehradun from 06 August to 08 August 2009. Maximum 04 Scouts & 04 Guides form each K.V (the best ones out of Scouts and Guides who have passed Tritiya Sopan and eligible as per BS&G APRO Book Part II/III) will participate in this Testing Camp. The participants will report at the venue on 05-08-2009 (Afternoon) and will be relieved in the afternoon of 08 August 2009.
Personal Kit::-
1. Two set of Complete Scout / Guide Uniform with school uniform also.
2. Scout will bring Navy Blue Half Pant with garter tape and Black Shoes, Socks.
3. Personal Kit, Light bedding, plate, glass & spoon, etc.
4. 03 meters Knotting rope.
5. All Certificate such as Pravesh, PS, DS, TS, Proficiency Badge Certificates, Date of Birth Certificate, COH, Log-Book Service Certificate etc. in Original duly signed by competent authority & their Photocopies also.
6. Three Photographs in Full Scout / Guide Uniform.

Norms of Expenditure:-
1. All Scouts/ Guides will be paid both side traveling expenditure, Journey DA, Camp DA @ Rs. 100/- per head per day and registration fee @ Rs. 100/- per head out of VVN of the concerned Vidyalaya.
2. All the escorting teachers will pay Camp DA @ Rs. 100/- per day out of their DA.
All the other instruction for the Pre-Rajya Puraskar testing camp and Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp will be issued by the Principal KV Upper Camp.
The Principals will ensure that only eligible candidates who have all Proficiency Badges and complete Log-Book as per APRO II/III are sent for this Testing Camp.
TA/DA will be as per KVS rules.

In this practice concentrate at neck area and be aware of the state. Stay in this position for about 2-6 normal breaths duration).

(When leaning ends, Keep firm your lower half body up to abdomen and relax whole upper body, don’t push or exert pressure to go further towards ground rather keep it effortlessly, allow the gravitational force on it and enjoy the effect.

(Allow normal breaths to work and stay in this position at least for two normal breaths duration).
IX Come – back.

(Bring back left hand and simultaneously raise right hand in upward direction).
